Summary
The owner of A Burst of Colour wanted to take his painting business to the next level. We worked with him to create a brand and website that showcased the passion he and his team have for helping people create beauty.
Part of the problem that A Burst of Colour was facing was that it wasn’t focused. It was just another Calgary painting company that was competing for residential and commercial painting as well as interior and exterior painting. There was just too much competition for A Burst of Colour to compete with all the longstanding businesses that offered all those services.
We worked with Travis, the owner, to see if we could develop more of a niche and become more competitive in that niche. After some time, Travis decided that he wanted to focus on residential interior painting. That was his strong suit and the type of work he was truly passionate about, and the type of work that he and his team could demonstrate their obsession with creating beauty.
The new website was developed to focus in this niche, offering wall, trim, and door painting; stairs and railing refinishing, and kitchen cabinet painting, refinishing, and refacing.
Within a couple of months, the website was generating quality leads—in a month that has historically been very slow. A Burst of Colour also began connecting with people over LinkedIn and Facebook, creating conversations around the theme of creating beauty to build awareness.
Interest in A Burst of Colour’s services continues to grow and we’re happy to play a continuing role in its success.
